Mae Sa Valley drive

We hurried out the door this morning to get to the first show of the day of the Mae Sa Snake Farm. While the caged animals looked sad, the snake show was entertaining.

Gibbon was pissed off. He looked at me with sad eyes and turned his head away. Humpf!

Look closely...see the snakes?

Leo told us they feed these bunnies to the snakes...no they don't! Hope not. Say it isn't so!

Oh no, here they come - the King Cobras.

Leo was loving this; he encountered a King Cobra in Ko Chang while riding a motorbike.

And the venom...

Yikes.

Sheesh..Leo is the only one with a smile in the following photos....

then the mighty Python which they invited us to try on for size!

Sony was making some pretty weird noises when this guy was wrapped around her neck.

Flats were a little freaked out...

Get it off...get it off!

Leo wanted to hold the snake on his own but they kept a grip on him just in case.

Sony and I think he looks pretty beefy in this photo. Damn Rambo!

and then there was me...sheesh. I was hesitant though with Sony's urging, I took the opportunity to wear the snake!

When he began to constrict, it was a bit uncomfortable...

Then there were three of the squiggly things....

They were fast moving so every once in awhile the handlers would throw towards the audience and they jump the the curb like barrier. Ugh.

Seriously?

Oh yea...

The racer snake

Trainer and snake kissing each other.

After all THAT we went to the botanical garden.
Salmon Nomads meets Tastybitsflirtywits!

Amidst a sea of students...

Holding flats...

Hanging in the ferns....
