What's great about this class..it's private, in her outdoor kitchen, at a bit of a snail's pace. Orn is pretty casual, giving us old aprons to wear, giving us multiple breaks, herself taking time to tend to guests, her staff and her son.
Orn is showing us jackfruit, which is sometimes confused with the super smelly durian on the outside but are very, very different. Jackfruit is something I've had before in the Filipino dessert called Halo Halo, though usually from a jar.
The sections are within a very tough exterior, with interior sections much like a pomegranate.
Coconut milk desserts, many with rice or taro.
sweets, sweets, everywhere...
Grilled kebabs looked and smelled fabulous!

When we first saw these, never would I have guessed they were...grilled...FROGS!
