All is quiet in the "row" at Global Talent Acquisition, otherwise known as Enterprise Staffing at Starbucks Support Center. As I'm creating job vites for my open positions I receive a text on my phone from a Great Britain country code phone number that doesn't look familiar.

TXT: CAN YOU PLEASE FIND ME THE VENUE FOR THE "FORUM FOR THE FUTURE'S BIRTHDAY EVENT" TONIGHT AND TEXT ADDRESS? THX.

me: is this my brother?

TXT: ME, LOST IN LONDON WITHOUT PHONE INTERNET.

googled "Forum for the Future" and "London". all searches point to: nightclub "fmv Forum" at 9-17 Highgate Road, Kentish Town, London NW5 1JY

TXT: SORRY, FORUM IS AN NGO (Non Governmental Organization).

me: not nightclub. hold on. do you know who is hosting it?

TXT: DESIGN MUSEUM WAS VENUE AWHILE AGO BUT MUST HAVE CHANGED

me: seems they use a ton of venues, still searching

TXT: FORUMFORTHEFUTURE.ORG IS CELEBRATING 15TH ANNIVERSARY TONIGHT. I THOUGHT IT ORIGINALLY AT DESIGN MUSEUM.

me: on their site no event listed but a speaker tomorrow. still looking.
sorry, I don't see it. any other clues?

me: go ahead. WAIT! just saw a twitter feed on their site, trying to follow it.

me: got it! coin street neighborhood centre near waterloo

TXT: ADDRESS?

me: says stamford street, 108 stamford, south bank, SE1 9H

TXT: I'M HEADING THERE NOW. TEXT LATER. THANKS.

me: the person tweeting hopes you find them. told them I was in seattle helping. technology! sheer luck!

***20 minutes later***

TXT: THANKS MYRNA! GOT HERE BY CAB NOW WITH WINE & SALAD, ORGANIC, OF COURSE.

me: cool. just told the team member who taught me about twitter (jeremy langhans @jer425). he wants me to write about it. it's pretty cool really. you need to follow them (Forum4thefuture)!
